EcoLogix Group, Inc., a founding Businesses for the Bay Member, is an environmental strategy firm helping clients achieve challenging organizational and project goals, specializing in managing impacts of physical development projects.
EcoLogix team members value opportunities to support community enhancement and environmental stewardship projects, by helping to plan, coordinate, and staff events for various nonprofits and government agencies.
A few recent examples include community cleanup events in Baltimore’s St. Helena community, installing rain gardens and planting trees in partnership with Blue Water Baltimore and the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Port Administration, participating in the Alliance’s Project Clean Stream Events, volunteering at G.R.O.W. Center projects, and joining the Baltimore Port Alliance to help clear the Madeira Street Community Garden, maintained by C.A.R.E. Community Association, Inc., from a fallen tree and other storm debris.
It is a continuing effort on the part of EcoLogix to encourage diverse groups, reflective of the communities that they work in, to participate in their community’s environmental programs. Ecologix has engaged with leadership from the Turner Station Conservation Teams, SAFE Alternative Foundation for Education, the Greater Baybrook Alliance and other communities to facilitate and identify opportunities for environmental education and restoration activities.
Since 2014, EcoLogix has been a total telework firm, now with approximately 20 employees working from home office locations, which reduces the environmental impact of their company travel. With the exception of client meetings, EcoLogix employees tele-commute every day. On average, EcoLogix holds 6-8 online meetings monthly.
EcoLogix sponsored the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s 2018 Taste of the Chesapeake!
