Project Summary

What happens when a free-spirited, creative soul has the ability to naturally grasp complex business concepts, synthesize them into plain English and clearly define a plan of action for achieving goals? You get Pomerantz Marketing! Pomerantz’s seasoned team of B2B marketing specialists is business savvy, strategic, creative, analytical and technically adept.

As an Annapolis resident, avid boater and nature lover, Kathy Floam-Greenspan, President and Strategy Director of Pomerantz Marketing, is passionate about her life on the Chesapeake Bay. The company supports their local community through the pro bono “Pom in the Community” program. The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay is the current recipient of this pro bono work; the 2018 Strategic Marketing Initiative is putting creativity to work for cleaner water! Pomerantz is working with the Alliance to increase their visibility in the community and to help better communicate their valuable mission. Through strategycontent developmentgraphic design and more, Pomerantz Marketing is excited to lend a hand to this outstanding organization!

Community Engagement is important to Pomerantz Marketing, and it shows through their Businesses for the Bay Membership. The team plans to create a green team and hold at least 4 meetings a year to discuss sustainability goals, work on projects, and collect documentation, with an overall goal of increasing team building and employee morale. They will participate in at least one trash clean-up through the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Project Clean Stream — the largest cleanup event in the Chesapeake Bay region! Keeping the entire community in mind, the team will invite diverse local community members to join in their environmental activities. Being good stewards of the environment and being part of the local community is so important to Pomerantz Marketing that they plan to implement a policy that facilitates employee volunteerism in local environmental projects. All employees are also offered the opportunity to work from home once a week, reducing the environmental impact of their company travel and saving gas and travel time!

Pomerantz Marketing sponsored the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s 2018 Taste of the Chesapeake!
