The Bay Journal is published by Bay Journal Media, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to inform people about issues and events that affect the Chesapeake Bay. Knowledgeable, respected reporters cover topics ranging from agriculture to aquaculture. Over 31,000 copies of the Bay Journal are published 11 times each year and distributed free of charge. A worldwide audience reads our content at www.bayjournal.com. Publication is made possible through a number of grants, donations and advertising support. To be added to the mailing list for the print or electronic edition, fill out the online subscription form. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible: researchers, educators, environmentalists, policy-makers, farmers, watermen, students, and concerned citizens.
The Bay Journal News Service serves print and web-based media organizations by syndicating free news articles and op-ed columns on environmental issues affecting communities in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
